Jennifer Knoulton
Jennifer Knoulton is the VP of Community Health & Wellness for Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc. and is responsible for the planning, operations, fiscal management, quality and satisfaction of the organization’s community-based programming. Through direct services, funding and engagement, this team works with the community of South Texas to address issues of health and well-being that most directly impact the underserved community in a 74-county area of South Texas. The focus is on issues of equity and vital community conditions impact working poor families. Previously, she served as the organization’s Director of Nursing for two years, providing clinical, professional, and administrative oversight to clinic nursing staff and the Wesley Nurse program. Before that, she spent 10 years as a Wesley Nurse and Wesley Nurse team leader, practicing the specialty of Faith Community Nursing in a rural community. Her vast nursing experience includes nursing in rural health, school health and hospital settings from Alaska to Florida. She is a BSN graduate of the University of Florida and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. Jennifer is active on the form communities board of directors in San Antonio.
